| How to Help the HERC
Personal experiences and eyewitness accounts are most important in order to keep the record complete, and in order to speak for those who were silenced. The HERC has been very active in encouraging local survivors to participate in the major videotape project of Steven Speilberg's "Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation." Several interviews were already conducted, others are scheduled for the near future, and further scheduling is possible. Anyone interested in having their history videotaped for posterity should contact our coordinator, Tova Weiss, at 961-2300 X6. The HERC welcomes memorabilia, letters, and photographs from survivors and liberators and their families for permanent or temporary exhibit. We also would welcome any survivors who have kept silent, or veterans (VFW) who witnessed liberation and are ready to speak about it, to contact our Coordinator, Tova Weiss. You are our most valuable "educational tool" in touching the hearts and minds of young people. The HERC also welcomes interested volunteers and financial support for its projects. Queries of any kind can be made to our office at 961-2300 X6. |
